2015 & 2016 WASHINGTON BUSINESS JOURNAL #1 Corporate Philanthropy Award Winner

For the 2nd year in a row, TTR Sotheby's International Realty has been recognized by the Washington Business Journal as the '#1 Most Philanthropic Small Business' in the Greater Washington Area.  We are thrilled to be supported by an organization who values its commitment to the community and can't be prouder of the TTR Sotheby's International Realty Leadership Team for their contributions and recognition in this space.

Everyone has something they care about.  That little something moving them from purpose to action.  And while everyone has different causes that matter deeply and profoundly to them, we believe in helping nurture both our client's and our deepest passions.

Which is why we give back.  We're committed that doing so is more than just a feel good gesture, but something that allows us to better connect and engage with the people and clients we serve.  We also believe that our actions speak louder than words and are proud to participate with a variety of cause-related organizations across the city, and are happy to match a donation in our clients' names to organizations of their choosing.

Just A Few of Our Key Causes

As a second generation Colgate alumnus, Chris ('05) and his parents ('75 and '78) are active in the DC Colgate Alumni Chapter and are both members of the Presidents' Club. Chris regularly represents Colgate Alumni as clients, and in those transactions he gives back 13% of his commission to the Colgate Annual Fund. Chris' own personal giving is generally directed towards the Colgate Cricket Club, a club sport organization that he established as a student.  He is an active contributor to the Washington DC Colgate Facebook page as well where he is happy to share tips, tricks, and insights that make Washington a great place to live.

Yianni has worked hard across the past several months to establish the 1789 Club at the Georgetown Preparatory School, his high school alma mater.  Yianni can vividly remember the certain teachings of the Jesuit philosophy of "Living the 4th" and credits much of his present day success to lessons and relationships imparted in high school.  Prep's motto of "Men for Other's" is a guiding principal that shapes many of his interactions with fellow alumni.  He's linked up with fellow alumni Brian Murphy ('97) and Chris David ('03) to establish a mechanism where Prep alumni (and their families) can leverage the talents of three very important aspects of homeownership - agency, financing, and title, in a way that gives back to Prep.

Across the past several months, we've happily supported the following organizations, either through volunteering opportunities or via direct donations supporting clients.
