Eddie received a business degree from the University of Lima in Peru and excelled in international high-tech sales and business development representing the Latin America sales divisions at Compaq Computers, Hewlett Packard (HP), and Software AG before launching his real estate career in 2015. His corporate experience gave him wonderful opportunities, but he decided that he was more interested in the housing market and helping people find their dream homes. A big bonus was that he had more flexibility to be more available for and involved with his family that he created through adoption after getting married in DC in 2010.
Born in Denver, Colorado and raised in Lima, Peru, Eddie combines decades of international sales experience, a winning personality, and strong negotiating skills to distinguish himself among a handful of top-producing trilingual real estate agents in the Washington metro area. He speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. He learned Portuguese while working at HP, driven by his desire to offer stellar services to his Brazilian clients and co-workers, who preferred to speak Portuguese.
Eddie finds true joy in being involved in his local community, neighborhood, and organizations. He joined the non-profit Rainbow Families as a board member from 2018-2021 and actively continues to sponsor their annual conference while supporting the members of the LGBTQ+ community and families who want to be parents. Eddie was a member of the Board of Directors of the Washington, DC chapter of NAHREP (National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals) from 2018-2020 and had the position of Marketing Director during his tenure with them.

Eddie and his team have been awarded BEST WASHINGTONIAN Top Producing Agents in the Washington, DC area by Washingtonian Magazine from 2017-2023 and by RealTrends as a TOP Producing TEAM for the last years, as well.
Having started his family in the Petworth neighborhood and living there for over a decade, he was able to observe and build upon all the rapid changes that have made so many people seek out this neighborhood as a place to call home. Before the start of the Pandemic (Fall 2019) Eddie proudly called Chevy Chase, MD his home, and he immediately started working to be involved in both community activities there in order to enhance the lives of his neighbors. He is happily married to his husband Mehl and is the parent of two lovely children, Ariel and Sebastian, who enjoy the company of their family mascot, Oscar, their senior English Pointer.
By the end of the summer of 2023, he and his spouse purchased their family’s dream home and moved to Kensington, MD. When he is not updating his new home or gardening, Eddie enjoys traveling, entertaining friends, cooking and spending downtime with his family at home during the holidays and by the water during the summer.
